Watch Tina's Journey Story

The moment everything changed

In 2019, everything changed overnight.

Tina survived a massive, debilitating stroke. Her life changed overnight. Emergency surgery, in-patient rehab, home health, multiple outpatient therapy clinics, fatigue, brain fog, medical devices and updates, became her life.

She was given collection of disconnected tools and printouts that tracked appointments, vitals, and long medical explanations. None of them answered the question she asked herself every single day:

“Am I really getting better?”

The invisible reality of recovery

Progress in neurological and physical recovery is slow, unpredictable, and often invisible. Some weeks feel like nothing is changing. Other weeks bring a tiny but meaningful win, like standing a little longer or moving with more stability. These moments matter, yet they disappear inside charts, disconnected clinic apps, and scattered notes.

Tina is still on this recovery journey today with severe left-side paralysis but she refuses to accept it as her new normal.

Fatigue makes progress hard to feel.
Cognitive fog makes simple tasks exhausting.
Emotional lows can overshadow small wins.
Isolation makes the journey even heavier.

Tina feels all of this, and so do millions of others. Her journey has inspired this new recovery experience

Why JourneyWell Exists

We are not building another clinic portal or platform. We are building a patient-centered mobile recovery experience that:

• Helps patients and caregivers see progress they would not see on their own

• Turns daily experiences into a story that can be shared with clinicians, family, and friends

• Encourages rest and grace without guilt or comparison

• Supports the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual sides of healing

JourneyWell exists for people walking through the longest and hardest chapters of their lives. It exists to show that progress is happening, even when it feels slow. It exists to offer guidance, community, and connection. It exists to remind every patient and caregiver: You are improving. Your progress matters. You are not alone.
